My brother was in a car accident. As of now, I have no idea where he is or if he's all right. I do know the car was totaled. Um. *WORRIED LIKE WHOA* Any good vibes his way would be most appreciated. And I can't DO anything--I don't know where he is, or who he's with, or how to get ahold of him, or anything. Um. lkcjhlcxxczklzxklzxokjkyhtgf
ETA: Ok. Everything is ok. Well, the car isn't, but he and all of his friends are, and. Yeah. really relieved. Still kind of scared, though. I get really freaked out by things like that, and stay that way for a long time.

Date: 2005-05-28 10:00 pm (UTC)My brother arrived from Australia yesterday - did a 27 hour flight all by himself (I am so proud!) and, before he arrived, I too had a scare - though I don't think it was as bad as yours.
We waited for him for an hour - then, everyone had left the baggage area - we went to ask about him with Info and the lady said that she was really sorry but there were no children travelling unattended on that flight. A real WTF?!?!?! moment. Because, well, if he wasn't there, where the bloody hell was he? Frantic calls back and forth to my mum (who was at work at the time) and finally we figured out that his flight number had been changed and he was in another plane - that had just landed in terminal 2. You can imagine my relief in finally finding him - but, just like him, there was still troubles - he accidentely left all his flight documents/passport on the plane as well as his hand luggage (including x-box)! Silly little thing that he is.

Date: 2005-05-29 01:10 am (UTC)How old is your brother? That's a really long flight! But geez, that must have been fucking terrifying. I would have been totally freaking out. I'm glad everything is all right on your side, though, too. Did he manage to recover his stuff?

Date: 2005-05-29 01:31 am (UTC)As for my brother, He's nine. You should have heard my mum! Unfortunately my brother later insisted on playing a prank on her and I went along with it thinking that, as I'd already called her back to quickly say that we found the right plane, she's realise it was a joke. When I got on the phone I said in a serious voice that there'd been a problem and he was still in Singapore - I think I nearly gave her a heart attack! Of course, I told her straight away it was a joke and felt really sorry - she swore I hadn't said we actually had him though.
And, yes, luckily he got all his stuff back - I had to trail some Airport personnel guy for about 45 mins to get it, though!

Date: 2005-05-29 03:45 am (UTC)Wow, that's a really long flight for a nine year old! Geez! But, hahah, that was really mean to tell your mom he wasn't there. Hahah. I'm glad everything is all right, though. <33<3
