So, should I go see Rent? It's $40, and I'd have to pay myself. I have the money, but I'd have to take it out of my bank account set aside for car or laptop, depending.

i'm sorry it is so expensive -i had no idea.

however.

it would be the wing-ish seats, ie good view, and hopefully great music, and hopefully great singing, and hopefully amazing all round.

plus, you'd be going with me! and so it would be fun.

Gogogo! RENT is one of my favorite musicals, along with West Side Story. I saw it in SF at the Orpheum a year ago, and it's just amazing. If you have the means and the opportunity, go for it!
