aidenfireSo, it's finally happened. After hearing all of you rave/obsess over The Libertines, I borrowed a CD from a friend. The hype was all justified. I absolutely fell in love with it. I've had it on repeat for about six hours.
I went to the docter's office today. The chances are high that I've got mono (dunno why, though. It's not like I've been kissing anyone < /bitterness>). *sigh* Although it does explain a lot about how I've been feeling for the last couple weeks, it still really sucks.

Date: 2005-01-22 01:37 am (UTC)And then Julie started gushing about their music and posting picspam and I was like "oooh! it's that guy!", so one night I downloaded some of the songs to try them out and found that I really enjoy their music. I don't know too much about them outside of their music and the occasional slash!fic, but mmm, they definitely have commandeered a special place in my heart :-)

Date: 2005-01-22 03:32 pm (UTC)I hope it's something else too. I won't know for sure until my blood test results come back this afternoon, but, well, I'd bet on it. Really, what other reason is there for me to have been feeling sick twice or three times a week, for about three weeks running? And I've got most of the symptoms--bad throat, headaches, mild fever on and off, tiredness, etc.
*sigh* It suck mega, though.
