Jan. 22nd, 2006 05:41 pmI just watched Brokeback Mountain. dfskljdfkljkdjlfdfkjllfdjk. I can barely type, because my hands are shaking and shit. Sobbed all the way through the second half. ALL THE WAY. SOBBED. ldsafkljdfskjldfkjldflkjdfkljdfsjklasdfjkldsfkjlsdfjklasdfljka. I just finished it like five minutes ago and I'm all sdfjklfuiortio4tiewfijfsdkjfdsjksdfjklsdfaWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. God, it was so good, omg. Like, jklsdfkjldfjkldfs. No words. The scene with the shirts? And inside each other? the scene from my icon? I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE I WAS CRYING SO HARD. AHHH THE ANGST WOE I'm still all flaily and teary and crap. My heart is a little too full, so it keeps pushing tears out of my eyes to give it more room, I think. :((((((
Also, both Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal were really, really good. jkdfslkdslkajsd. I totally bought it. And sometimes, with movies with actors I'm so familiar with, I don't think "Oh, that's Ennis and Jack" I think "Oh, that's Heath and Jake". Not with this one. It was Ennis and Jack all the way. Like EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER . in the whole movie was completely believable and stunningly acted.
And, for me--Heath Ledger has been my baby since A Knight's Tale. That was the first movie that I watched obsessively and the first movie star that I developed a full-blown crush on, to the point of spending hours searching and printing pictures of him. And it's such a thrill for me to see how much he's matured as an actor, and how good he is. Oh, Heath baby. So much love.
"I wish I knew how to quit you"
AHHHWOE!! :(((
*flails*
WAHHHH I'M REALLY FULL OF WOE!
ETA: Some spoilers in the comments. Be careful.

Date: 2006-01-22 10:48 pm (UTC)I was pretty tired when I saw it, so I don't think that my brain processed everything properly, but it was soooooo sad, especially those scenes that you mentioned in particular. And you icon? Love it, and it's mega crazy full of woe.
*hands you a tissue* It'll be okay. ♥

Date: 2006-01-22 10:57 pm (UTC)also I'm totally pmsing. lol. mood swings and overly emotional, wot wot?.Also, I'd read the short story before hand, so I knew what was going to happen, how it was going to end, so whenever they were together, I was like Ennnnnnis! Make your move now, before it's too late! WAHHH! Kind of like how some R/S fics, no matter how happy the fic itself will be, will still hit me as sad, knowing what's going to happen. And, yeah. :(
Phew. What a ride, though. I was SO involved in everything that happened. My only issue was the tent!sex scene. Lube, much? Preperation? And damn they moved fast, from just talking to full on smexing up.

Date: 2006-01-22 11:08 pm (UTC)I haven't read the short story, but I know what you mean, about the R/S fics. R/S was actually my first OTP when I entered the fandom, and they were all so perpetually sad, even if they were happy. Just because you know that Sirius fell through the veil and I don't think that there's a shot in hell that he's coming back. Even the AU fics with a crack-ifide explanation for him being back don't help. :(
But yeah, back to the point, that movie is so good, but so sad and wonderfully angst and woe filled.
