I have aspirations of next summer getting an internship in Chicago. I know there are a few of you flisters who live in and around Chicago--any ideas about how and where to go about apartment and/or job hunting?

Actually, it's a one-bedroom in a high-rise-- I'm in the bedroom and two girls have set up the living room for themselves. I know that doesn't quite sound ideal, but it's really close to the downtown area (like really close. Grant Park, where Obama's Election Rally was held, and where Lollapalooza will be held, is across the street, there's a train station and a grocery store three blocks away, and a bus stop at the front of the building), discounting the fact that there's no common space besides the kitchen, the place is fairly spacious, heat/AC/water are paid for, and it's got a pretty great view of the city and the lake at night, which is great in the summer because there are fireworks twice a week at Navy Pier. :|
