Ah, Rent. How cool was it? Very very cool. Yes. Very cool. I was so impressed! Every member of the cast, even the ones billed as "man with squeegee" or whatever had super voices. It was great. However, the guy who played Rodger, though he of course had a wonderful voice, was a bit too angsty and CAPSLOCKY for me. And, he had the most godawful pants I have EVER seen for the entire first act! Ugh! The girl who played Mimi was incredible! Gorgeous voice, and could she dance! And in pants so tight that I wouldn't have even been able to move! I was incredibly impressed that many of the ladies (and Angel!) could dance like they did--IN HIGH HEELS! Shoot! That's awesome! I've had various songs stuck in my head all day. But, I did have a few complaints. First, I think there was a problem with the sound, and the instruments were too strongly miked, while the people weren't miked well enough. It was difficult to make out the words at some points. Also in the scene where Angel died, I had no idea what was going on at all until they started doing the eulogies. There were all these people like, writhing under a sheet? And then other people climbing up and down a wall? Very very odd. Other than that though, it was really great! I'm glad I went.

I loved it too! It was so awesome! Ahah the guy who played Roger seemed like he needed to go be in some metal band or something, but he's supposed to be the frontman in some pop/punk band lmao I was confused like woah hehe, it was neat though he had an amazing voice
