aidenfireDo you guys use it? What do you think? I secured a username awhile back but just started playing with it today. I'm thepenni. Found a few of you but I feel there are probably more. Let's be friends. :)
ALSO. Anyone else following Euro 2008? I went into it rooting for France, mostly because of my love for Henry and Ribery (and residual affection for Zidane retirement or not), but after their really pretty abysmal showing in the GROUP OF DEATH lol, I've switched allegiance to the Netherlands in a I hope the people who beat my team are actually good sort of way and have been quite pleased. I think they really could win the whole thing. I have a color coded grid of my predictions lol.
I've only managed to catch a few games due to, you know, not having a tv lol, but the ones I've watched have been fun.
The France-Netherlands game was really fun to watch, even if I was disappointed in my boys. I couldn't believe that quick goal after Henry finally stepped up! Brilliant work by the Holland goalie Van Der Sar.
The Netherlands-Romania on the other hand, what was that, that was ridiculous. Both teams just kept flat out missing the goal, not even being blocked but just aiming poorly which I think there is really no excuse for at this level, especially over and over.
Portugal-Germany was great! Oh man I was so sad they lost, I've always loved Ronaldo, diving and whining and all. Portugal is just so fun to watch, especially their offense and I felt sure if they had had just five more minutes they could have turned things around and at least tied it up.
I predict!
Croatia winning over Turkey, Netherlands winning over Russia, and Spain winning over Italy (Villa has been on fire!) in the quarters, then Netherlands winning over Spain. I think it's going to come back to Germany-Croatia again, and I think Germany is going to pull it off given a second chance. So Netherlands v. Germany in the finals, and Netherlands taking the win! The Netherlands have the highest number of goals in the tournament so far, and remember they were playing in GROUP OF DEATH (hahah can't say that without Epic!Voice). Not only that, but they're tied with Portugal for the number of different players who've scored (nine goals, scored by seven different players), which means their whole team is strong rather than just having a scoring machine like villa.
Also my favorite show ever is in full swing, So You Think You Can Dance. If you're not watching you should be. :)

Their keeper makes me want to scratch his face to ribbons and as for Ronaldo, I can barely stand hearing his name after the last World Cup. I'll be so pleased if he gets out of England and goes to Real Madrid.
