1) 11 is my absolute favourite number. hence 11 things to tell you. why my favourite? well, aside from being my birthday, it is a palindrome, and i am a very mirror-image-y person. it is strange.
2) i have absolutely no hand/eye coordination. i played softball in...fifth grade? around then. i was horrible...by the end of the season they had me batting off a tee, and i STILL couldn't hit the fucking ball. *embarrassed* it was horrid.
3) my favourite key is Gb. not to say that i can play well in it, but i really like it. it sounds cool.
4) i live in a jungle. literally. only, minus the photosynthesis. no, the plants aren't fake, they are painted onto my wall. i did that...right before freshman year. so it's been there awhile.
5) i have a leg coming out of my ceiling.
6) i play the flute, and fairly well, too, but i would rather play brass. for some reason, i always end up making friends with trombone players. some strange attraction. i think maybe it is what i was meant to play.
7) i have never met anyone else with my middle name. as either a first name or a middle name.
8) in band, i always make up stories to go along with the music. then my friend ruthie and i act them up. we sit in the front row, and our band director looks at us strangely a lot, because we'll be doing things like acting like spies or pretending to have wings.
9) i love formating things.
10) The Queen and the Soldier might be my favourite alltime song. Written by Suzanne Vega, but I like the Kate Rusby/Katherine Roberts version best.
11) i adore picture books. especially Grahm Base ones. Eleventh Hour, The Waterhole, etc.

and an entertaining comment? uhhhh i don't have anything entertaining to say. oh, one of my dad's colleages had her dad die. another colleague (sp?erg) sent out an email to all the faculty, anouncing that SHE'D died, not the dad, but then wrote at the bottom that the woman would like calls and such, and would be visiting with people in several weeks. oops! my dad laughed so hard i thought he would explode. it was really funny.

3) I don't have a favorite key. But, (totally unrealated...) the song I'm listening to has a line right now that goes "wouldn't it be nice to be Dorian Gray, just for a day?" or something like that.
4) Oooh, cool! My room is odd yellow floral wallpaper, and lots of random words and pics cut out of magazines, and a few LotR posters.
5). Umm. That's very interesting. I don't. But I do have a leg coming out of my hip...
6) I play clarinet. And it's interesting, because all of the sections are composed of people with specific personalities. Like, the low brass is dirty-minded (maybe why you gravitate to the trombones, lol), the trumpets are pompous and "leadership-oriented", the flutes are ditzy
AND I'M GOING TO KILL THEM IF THEY DON'T LEARN TO TUNE, OMGand can't march, the saxes are never, ever, on task, etc.7)What is it? Umm, I'm never quite sure if I have two middle names or two last names, because my mom didn't change her name when they got married, and so I have both her last name and my dad's last name in my name, and I don't know what to call them. Wahhh.
8) Oh! Dude! I've done that before! Especially in songs where we don't come in until measure 43. It is way fun!
9) Like, docs? Or webpages? I like doing webpages, and sooner or later I will make my LJ pretty. Really.
10) I don't know either the song or the version. *am deprived* There is no way I could pick a favorite song, but some of the ones I really like a lot right now include Placebo's Nancy Boy, Ben Kweller's Lizzy, Coldplay's Spies, Tea Party's Oceans, and Bowling for Soup's Life After Lisa
11) Yes, picture books are awesome. (kind of related...)My favorite stress reliever is doing grammar worksheets. Like, multiple choice, what's wrong with this sentance, things. *am nerdy*
