(no subject)

Someone is seriously the fuck out to get me. The third--third time I got to just past 40% in downloading a Lost episode that I've missed, something happens. The first and second time, someone logged me out in the middle of downloading. This time, there was no way I was going away from my computer while it was downloading, I don't care if it was going to take until two in the morning. And so I'm downloading, and it gets to 40%, and I'm like, haha! I finally made it! And then like five minutes later I got some kind of error message and the whole thing closed. I'm going to go cry now.

But anyway,

As it is now no longer Friday, Things I Found/Learned While Reading queenofalostart's Flist:

-Some people don't like DashCon

-Almost everyone I ran across was doing the flist swap

-There are a lot of memes going around her flist that all of my flist did a while ago (the lyrics one and the three things), but they have a few cool new ones that I think are going to hit here, real big, real soon (the movie one, the slash questionaire) and about as many people over there are doing the first line thing as over here

-I don't know if this counts, because I found out via opiumcoffeebean who is also on my flist, but since I saw it there first--Alan Rickman to Voice Marvin in "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" !!!


-Found this uber-fun poll! It's pitting Disney villians against each other! Yay!

-Gorgeous cowboy!Viggo fic

-Random supercool links

-Best interpretation of Paul I've read in a long time

-Some people are really rather dumb

1. Harry Potter Fandom is weird and a hell of a lot more perverted than any other fandom I have ever seen. Oh. MY. GAHD (http://www.livejournal.com/users/sioniann/67751.html?mode=reply&style=mine). DUMBLEDORE/FAWKES? OMGWTFBBQMBTA?!?!?!!!!

2. There are some really, um, graphic fandom artists in HP. *scrubs at eyes*

Haha, I've got to admit, the Fawkes fic was a bit of a joke. Since there were so many people swapping, she wanted to scare them a bit.

And yeah, I usually read my flist on a really heavy filter. I've only got all the comms for those times when I want a new post every time I hit F5.

I hope my flist didn't disturb you too badly! They're really quite nice! (I generally skip the graphic art too, though)
