Also, Ryoma would call him Tezuka-buchou when talking about him to other people, I think. But always buchou. Because Tezuka is his captain wherever he goes. :X

Ooooh yes. Tezuka is so very traditionally Japanese; it will be Echizen in public for years. Although close friends would not count as public. Also he will probably eventually get Ryoma out of the habit of using 'buchou' in public, but it will become a pet name. Using first names denotes a lot of intimacy, really; it's somewhat less so with Ryoma because of his background, but Kunimitsu? Not even his closest friends use it, and Ryoma wouldn't in public. I'm not sure he would outside of intimacy, actually; physical touch at the least. I also have a weakness for Ryoma using Mitsu-kun (also only in intimate moments) as a teasing sort of nickname, because 'mitsu' can mean 'honey.'

I definitely think that Tezuka will go on using "Echizen" in public, at least until they're...married, or something. XD Also, I think that Ryoma will always use "buchou" as an affectionate sort of nickname.

I also think Tezuka will use "Echizen" if he's upset with Ryoma. He'll say it in his very best Buchou Voice. *laughs* And if Ryoma's being serious when they're older, I can see him using "Kunimitsu." [/ramble]

Ryoma and Tezuka don't seem the type to give each other nicknames. Tezuka would think they were frivolous and Ryoma would think they were cheesy. They'd probably end up twitching all the time if they ever got around to using them/being called by them because neither of them are particularly sappy.

I think Tezuka would get a lot more satisfaction out of seeing how many different ways he can make Ryoma say "Buchou" and how many sounds and noises of the "Nn", "Ah" variety he can get out of Ryoma instead.

Heehee. I bet Ryoma likes Tezuka's Buchou Voice too. And he will go out of his way to be naughty to make Tezuka use his Buchou Voice on him so that he can say "Yes buchou! Please make me a good boy!" Hot disciplinary sex will follow.

It wasn't enough that Syuusuke smiled all the time, even when everyone else looked miserable -- especially when everyone else looked miserable. No, that wasn't it. But sometimes... sometimes he'd say things.

His voice is scarcely a whisper, and his eyes open only for a second before clinching shut. I think Ryoma will think of buchou as Kunimitsu, even when he's still buchou. It's like a dual thing, captain and lover - what he was and is and represents and what he becomes, after. He'll call Tezuka Kunimitsu only on a rare occasion.

Yessss, Fuji is so scarily perceptive, and the fact that he is so slight and sweet looking only makes him more terrifying. Like Laura was saying at dinner tonight, with someone like Inui, you kind of expect him to be bizarre and slightly scary, but with Fuji, you just never know what he's going to do. And the possibilities are kind of terrifying. ^_^

Well, Fuji would know best. fjkld;sadkfs I should really not ship the incest so hard.

I knowww. Tezuka is gone for what seems like an age. :( But I love that Ryoma still thinks about him and from the scenes we see of Tezuka in Germany, he's worried about the team and how his pillar is faring and :X

I have no idea what their songs are but they are just adorable. And Atobe is ridiculous. And Eiji singing <3333 and Tezuka and Ryoma in the same band and I don't even know what the purpose of this thing can be except to add additional cracky gayness to the series. As if there wasn't enough already. :PPP

I think even when they're 80 and surrounded by fat Mpreg!grandchildren Tezuka will still call him Echizen in public.

And Ryoma will call Tezuka Buchou most of the time because he knows damn well how hot it get's him. It's my Tezuka's not-so-secret pervy kink.

But I think they will call each other by their first names very occasionally, maybe when they're making up after a fight, or being sweetly romantic with each other. They'd use it to prove how close they were to one another.
