Yesterday in class, I was perhaps not as productive as I might have been. Observe my journal:

Ahahah. It's my first fanartses evah!11!!! That'd be Tezuka ♥ Ryoma, if it wasn't clear. Which it might not have been. :P

An Original Penni Creation. Perhaps my least favorite--I was having some troubles with the bottom--but I still like it.

The yellow part is a simple slip dress, with the pink going over it and gathered down by the knee, where it'd drape onto the floor a bit. The straps were supposed to look like a continuation of the stripes circling around the neck.

I like this one a lot! This is a dress for summer evenings in Tahiti or something. I really like the colors.

I like this one, too. This one actually got a page to itself in my journal, haha! It's a kind of heavy fabric--I don't know what, exactly, but it'd weigh rather a lot. The stripe on the top circles around in the back, until it meets with the bottom again.
FTR, those were all done in pencil on notebook paper, and quickly colored in Photoshop.

Yup. That, and watching massive amounts of PoT, was the extent of my activities today. I lead such an exciting life!

He did that in about ten minutes. I handed him a picture of Ryoma I'd printed and was like "Hey. Draw this." And he did. I'm really quite impressed, especially considering how quickly he did it. I think I spent about as much time on mine as he did on his. Hahhah. *failzz*
Pencil on paper.
Good night, flist! :*

Date: 2006-03-19 05:33 pm (UTC)Thanks! I'm glad you like them. I was kind of surprised with myself, honestly, because I'm usually not artsy-fartsy like that! I told Max that he could go into the fashion industry with me, hahah.
Yup! They're really easy to make. Screencap, crop, maybe sharpen or lighten a little if they're blurry, and you're done!
Yeah! I know! He got all the artistic skilz in my family. Snaps.
♥!

Date: 2006-03-19 08:07 pm (UTC)Oh, that would be so great if you and Max actually went into fashion together! I'd so buy your stuff! Seriously, the dresses you drew were really nice! I'd buy them!
Um... I don't know how to do a screencap. Do you do it in Photoshop? My sister is bringing me a bootleg version of Photoshop from her boyfriend for me to use- I'm so excited!
Well, you aren't exactly inept at art either! Oh man, wait til you see some of the art that I've made- we did watercolors in my art class last week... I think a five year old can do better than me! Hee.

Date: 2006-03-19 08:22 pm (UTC)Hee! Thank you! I think I'd be too busy laughing my ass off to really get a lot done, though. ;)
Oh! It's pretty easy! Just hit ctrl+alt+print screen. Then, open up whatever image program you use--even just paint works. Open a new document, and paste the screen cap in.
Ahhh, painting. :)))))

Yeah, the painting is fun. I did one of Harry Potter, I'll have to scan it & post it- one of the old ladies in my class was like, do you know this person?
