I had a dentist's appointment this morning.

At 8.

We didn't have school today.

And not only did I have to wake up at 7:30 to go to the goddamn dentist on a day off, I had to do it with the worst cramps I've ever had in my entire life.

Oh, it was okay... It was my second this week; the first was Genetics, today was Cell Bio. I got a 72.8% on my Genetics exam, but the class average was only a 66%, and it should be around a 75%. My prof is a grad student so he has to defer to his advisor, but he's going to add a curve. The question is how much of a curve it will be. If it ends up being 9 points, I will be happy! Or even 8, anything to get me a B.

Today's exam was... interesting. My prof is really unorganized, and it's like, "What the fuck do you want us to know?" And it's complicated, because all of these processes in cells are very complicated, and you essentially have to know entire mechanisms. It's amazing what the body is capable of, but I don't like being tested on it. I think I did okay, but who knows... it's hard to gauge until you get it back, you know?

Genetics I like. Bio of most shapes...not so much. Exams I generally do not like. Not knowing what I ought to know I never like. Curves, I always like.

I like Bio (being a Biology major and all!) but he just kind of threw this all on us, didn't explain it, and expected us to know it. Grr.
