It is raining quite a lot, and we've only got maybe 10 trick-or-treaters. Also, I didn't have a costume and did nothing entertaining and am feeling a little blah. So, blantantly stealing from violet_quill, trick-or-treat here! Feel free to use your icons as costumes (See mine? Hee)! I have chocolate...*tempts*

Back from an absence. Will you have time later tonight for writemore-ish discussion? I'm off to rehearsal until about 9, but I have hw/other things to do so I'll be up for a little while.

Mainly: Since we're in November already, I'm wondering if we should extend the current round another week or two and then use the remaining time to set-up for the December round.

Oh, god, Erin. I think that we need to recruit someone else to be a mod, because I'm clearly failing at life. I just--I'm not doing a good job and I feel bad. :\

Is it just a no-time thing? Or losing attention-thing? Or a wait-y-teh-f-am-i-trying-to-be-a-mod-thing?

Help me out here! I have a feeling this is something we can fix. :)
Because technically, since you're not a participant, you'll only need to be a mod on Tuesdays -when you get scores from me to post- (or Wednesdays as they've been lately) and the beginnings of rounds for team assignments. That can be about 30 minutes max a week plus maybe an hour at the worst for round beginnings. Yes, there's those other times when I'm being neurotic about rules and situations or someone leaves a note that they're dropping out or someone is MIA, but really those aren't too terrible, and we can definitely put out a classified ad for another mod. :)

Mostly it's that I feel bad because I'm a spaz and just don't remember to post things. It's not really the time--it doesn't take up that much time at all, it's just me not being detail-oriented enough to remember to make the sign-up poll, or post the weekly scores, or even remind people to post the scores. And how am I supposed to remind people if I need someone to remind me to remind them? Hahah.

And of course you can have chocolate *gives snickers and reeses and m&ms and and and*

P.S. My point was, I can totally see your reasons for not modding 26/8 and I'd like to know is it just that life is keeping you from having time to mod or are you losing interest or something else that is also actually quite reasonable?

Don't feel bad, :) I can many find points in my life where I'm slacking but feeling bad about them will only make me want to stay in bed all day. My bed is actually extremely comfortable, but the whole wide world awaits me!
