(no subject)

So I got a haircut a few weeks ago, and got it colored a few days ago, so I thought I would take some pictures...but apparently it was a bad decision because it killed my camera. Which blows because I really don't want to have to buy a new one right now ugh. I hope that it is fixable! I was literally right in the middle of taking pictures of myself when all of a sudden the screen went black. That's what vanity gets you I guess! It still displays the pictures I'd already taken just fine but the new ones are all showing up as just black squares. It's like a lens cap is on or something, but I didn't touch the lens or do anything unusual to it in between when it was working and when it wasn't. I've tried turning it on and off, changing the batteries, and gently wiping off the lens with a clean cloth. I can't see anything on/covering the lens. Any suggestions much appreciated :((

But I did manage to take a few pictures before that although they're both kinda wonky looking. ALSO, pictures of the cookies I made for livelongnmarry! Which are MADE OF WIN.

Ahhh forgot to add advice on camera: mine did something like that once and apparently, for my camera, it was something that tended to happen in areas of high humidity/moisture/what have you, and also something that the manufacturer would fix for FREE. "OMG so sorry I made something that crappy" and all that, you know? Call the 800 number and ask around :D

Yeah, I would drip a few drops into the cap of each color, and then use toothpicks to gently draw on. We have these flat toothpicks, I don't know what their particular use is for but they work great for cookie painting! By the end we were getting ambitious and mixing colors, too. A very fun project, overall. Make sure to put down newspaper or something first though, food coloring stains if you don't wipe it up right away as I learned on my white counters... lol
