Jun. 23rd, 2008 01:11 amHello flist who is smarter than me.
I have a dilemma. I need to make a purchase, train tickets. I have enough money in my bank account to cover the tickets right now. However, I made a different purchase a week ago. That purchase hasn't gone through yet for some reason. If/when it does go through, I would not have enough money for the tickets. I get paid on wednesday. I have overdraft protection, in the form of a small credit line (I think only maybe $200 or something).
So, my question is, should I go ahead and buy the tickets now (as they'll get more expensive the longer I wait, and my travel paranoia reminds me there is a possibility however faint that they might sell out), knowing that if the other thing goes through before wednesday I'll overdraft and be using credit? If that does happen, I'll be able to pay the credit bill within a day or two, but I don't know if there will be interest or charges or that sort of thing and am unsure of how to figure that out.
thank you. ♥
