Thoughts on Season One of Buffy.

Since my Angel post seemed to amuse everyone so much, I thought I might as well continue. :DD

• Buffy is KICKASS and reminds me a lot of Veronica Mars. Except, y'know, a lot more physical. I'm glad that they showed her training a couple times--I was having a hard time buying that she could be that strong and agile just by virtue of being the slayer.

• ANGEL ANGEL ANGEL I LOVE SO MUCH. dskasasdkjsjf like flail worthy amounts of love. alsfjsdkjfsjskjd. He's my favorite character--he's weevil, he's brian kinney, he's draco malfoy. He is the badass bad boy with a heart of gold who stops at nothing to help those he loves.
• ALSO HE IS A VAMPIRE!
• ALSO HE IS REALLY REALLY HOT. just saying.

• Xander. Oh. ♥. What a cutie. I want to take him home and give him soup. :))

• Willow is fantastic and I hope she gets Xander in the end. Probably the character I can relate most too.

I love how akward Xander and Willow get when they're trying to cover things up. Hee. It makes me laugh.

• GILES! Hahahaha. Wins at life. I love him so much. like, a lot. like, yay. And he totally digs Ms. Calender and it makes me smile. Who is also way cool. But Giles. Giles is the man. :DD

• Cordelia is vapid and bitchy and self centered as hell...but I still kinda like her. I thought the episode with the invisible girl really fleshed her out a lot. I think a lot of her persona is just that--a persona, an act, a mask. She makes me curious, because I think she's the only character that we've met that I don't really know who she really is.

Other things: So, turns out vampires don't freak me out at all, but that episode with the talking dummy? OMGOMGOMG  that was TERRIFYING.

I like it a lot, guys. :DDD


ETA: I'm a few eps into s2 and have just met Spike. Uh. Am kinda shocked, actually. I wasn't expecting him to be a bad guy! And what is up with his freaky girlfriend? She reminds me of River Tam except more evil. Points to him for getting rid of the Anointed One, though. The Annoying One, hahahah. He is entertaining, I'll give him that. :)

You're more perceptive than I was when I started watching BtVS. Granted, I was in first or second grade, and my super-duper-old-high-schooler big brother (I refuse to believe I am the same age now. REFUSE) couldn't be arsed to explain more than the obvious.

I have only one thing to say that everyone else will understand: WILLOW!

Drusilla is sort of...insane. ;___; You'll learn why at some later point - I can't remember when, exactly.

Omg, I can not wait until you get farther into this season - 2x14! 2x14! - because omg Angel. sjkladhglsdjkgh I really want to tell you what will happen, but it'll spoil it for you. D:

dflksdjhfdshkl randomly, when you get to season three we will have to flail about it together!!!11! the third season is my favorite buffy season and, just, yay. :D
