lay it out, man random link for color testing

So, have been messing with layout. It is now very simple flexible boxes style. Not very exciting, but, it matches my default icon! *wins* It's. Um. It's really pink, though. Oh, well.

I feel like I should have a header. Any ideas for what? Also2, how do I put things in the sidebar? Links, etc?

There should be an option when you click to 'customize' the layout (at the bottom) to edit your 'links list'. That will give you a place to type in links and stuff.

You should have an Albus header. Or, you know, not. I picture your journal with a QaF header. That would be cool. :)

Oh, great, thanks. I am clearly not skld at layout designing. And yeah, it's still really pink. Hmm. I think I will make it more of the red in the sweatshirt of the icon, and less of the pink. Coz, I'm just not a pink kinda girl.

Where do I change the color of the Read Comments link, and previous | edit | mem | next? I can't find it on the colors page.

Oh, there should be a manual way to do that. When you select the color scheme, there's a box of codes, right? With 'background' and 'text', etc etc. And then the color codes are like #000000 or something. You just have to change those codes to the colors you want. (I think you can google to look up what the html codes are for different colors)

hi, this is gonna sound weird, but i was just wondering where you came up with you name, cause my name is aiden and im a girl, and aiden and girl rarely seem to go together... so i was just wondering how the name came about?

Hi!

Ummm, I've been using the name aidenfire for years. Let me think...oh, I was writing a story and browsing through a babyname book, and came across Aiden. And, it seemed like a good name so a few days later when I was signing up for something, I stuck that in, plus the meaning of it, and it kind of stuck. I do agree with you on the aiden \=\ girl thing, though--I can't tell you how many times someone has assumed I'm a guy.

I've done it all manually...it didn't occur to me to do anything else. I just can't figure out what they call those links, so where I need to put in the html color to change them. I've even tried trial and error, and nothing is seeming to work. :\

In general, Linkin Park is. not my favorite band. They have a few songs I don't mind, but none (that I've heard) that I really like a whole lot. :\

Ok, have you heard "Crawling" by them (on the "first" CD, hybrid theory).

The main point is, I have at least six songs I wouldn't mind putting on this CD (even though I'm running low on room) and several song-slots I'm not feeling so "omgneedstobeonthisone" about. :D

In general, I'm not a fan of the screamy sound. There are exceptions to everything, of course, but as a general rule...yeah.

I don't particularly enjoy it either, but usually the songs I listen to the the sound (I probably have more "exceptions" than you) do tend to have music underneath that I like. Crawling's little note-line absolutely "pings" my heart whenever I hear it. I do have a "re-mix" which is less outright screamy though, je pense.

Hmmmm. I've probably heard it before because I knew the screamy part. I had the words wrong, but that might just be because my ears on crack (there's a coldplay b-side. It's CALLED I'll See You Soon, ok. Except when he sings that part, I thought he was saying "I'll say yes, say yes." and couldn't figure out what the I'll See You Soon had to do with anything. heh). ANYWAY. I've probably heard it before, but, I don't think I was crazy about it.
